Crisp, pale, clean and energising, Littlemoor Citra is one of our most popular pale ales.
Based on a neighbouring town to Ashover, Littlemoor Citra is a citra-hopped, pale coloured session beer and winner of six awards. Awards include: BSBA Overall Champion Beer, Rail Ale Festival 2014 and SIBA Bronze Medal 2013.
What’s a pale ale?
A pale ale is a top-fermented beer with a dominant pale malt, resulting in a paler colour. The term itself appear first in 1703 for beers made with high-carbon coke which made such lighter than other popular beers of the time.
